ôLooking Anew at Campaign Cash and Elected Judgesö highlights a research paper written by Assistant Professor of Economics John Levendis and Tulane Universityĺs Vernon Palmer titled The Louisiana Supreme Court in Question: An Empirical and Statistical Study of the Effect of Campaign Money on the Judicial Function. The study points to two Louisiana supreme court justices with anomalous voting patterns. They are very highly correlated with campaigning contributions that they received from plaintiffs and defendants. View the article here.
