Ed Sanders presents ôPoems for New Orleansö at Loyola

Legendary 1960s cultural figure Ed Sanders will present "1968: A Talk with Music and Images," on Monday, Oct. 20, and read from "Poems for New Orleans," on Tuesday, Oct. 21, at Nunemaker Auditorium in Monroe Hall on the main campus of Loyola University New Orleans. Both presentations will take place at 7:30 p.m. and are free and open to the public.

Cissy Petty to deliver keynote address at student affairs conference

Dr. M.L. "Cissy" Petty, vice president for student affairs and associate provost at Loyola University New Orleans, will provide the keynote address at the 13th annual Student Affairs Professional Conference, "The Contemporary Student: Creating A Climate of Care," in Buffalo, N.Y., on Saturday, Nov. 15, 2008. Buffalo State College of New York is sponsoring the conference.
